Ingredients

  • 1 whole branzino, scaled and gutted
  • 2 Wonderful Seedless Lemons, divided
  • 6 sprigs fresh oregano, divided
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • White rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. To prepare the branzino: Coat the branzino with salt and pepper on its interior and exterior. Slice one lemon into thin slices. Stuff the branzino cavity with three sprigs of oregano and three lemon slices. Drizzle the outside of the branzino skin with two tablespoons of olive oil. Top with two lemon slices, the remaining three sprigs of oregano, and salt and pepper. Bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Grill the remaining lemon in a small skillet over medium heat until charred.
  4. To serve: Squeeze the grilled lemon over the fish. Serve with white rice, if desired.
